Alex Murdaugh is an American Lawyer who is currently taking medical treatment after he has been shot in the head. His family has been running their own law firm for a very long time and three months earlier, his wife along with his son was mysteriously killed in a shootout.
After this incident, the Murdaugh Murder case which is still unsolved took a huge twist and probably became the talk of the town as well. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that Alex is the main suspect in this incident as he was trying to get an insurance policy amount but he survived the shootout.

As per the online records, Alex Murdaugh was born on 17th June 1968 in Hampton County, South Carolina, United States of America. His parents are Randolph Murdaugh and Elizabeth “Libby” Alexander. On 24th February 2019, his boat crashed which led to the death of Mallory Beach. His son was allegedly one of the six intoxicated under-aged people on the boat. On 17th June 2021, his wife and son were found dead as they were fatally shot. They were found at their estate in Colleton County, South Carolina. On 6th August 2021, the charges were dropped against Paul related to Beach’s death which was filed due to the boat incident. The same year, on 4th September he was driving to Charleston, South Carolina when he stopped to check for some issues in his car.
When was checking on Salkehatchie Road in Yemassee, South Carolina a truck was passing by and the driver shot him in the head. Recently in the same years, he was also shot in the head but survived and is recovering at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Conviction of killing Maggie Murdaugh
Alex was found guilty of the murder of his wife, Maggie Murdaugh, and their son, Paul (22), in June 2021. The shocking double murder occurred on June 7, 2021, and Alex was convicted of two weapons charges. Buster testified to support the attorney’s father in February 2023 when Alex pleaded not guilty to the murder charges. The trial was accompanied by widespread media attention and several documentaries, including a three-part series called Low Country: The Murdaugh Dynasty.
It premiered on HBO Max in November 2022 and a Netflix true crime docuseries called Murdaugh Murders, which began streaming on February 22, 2023, chronicled the case. According to PEOPLE, it was reported that Maggie had consulted a divorce attorney only six weeks before her unfortunate death. A source familiar with the investigation informed the magazine that she had a single meeting with the attorney and was examining her financial and marital assets in preparation for a potential separation. The insider mentioned that previously she didn’t focus much on the family’s finances or their sources of income, but she was now beginning to investigate them. This was reported in September 2021.
