Personal Statement
My name is Alyssa Thompson and I attend Clover Hill High School in Midlothian, VA. At Clover Hill, I am in the Math & Science specialty center and have a 4.31 GPA. I am 5'8 and I play all outfield, but primarily right and left field. I am also a 1st baseman, but that is my secondary. I work hard every day to better myself at the game and mentally as well. In college, I want to firstly focus on class and my grades, but secondly focus on the game and how I can do better for my team. A big goal I have set for myself is to play big D1 softball in college, such as the ACC or SEC, and to play in the WCWS someday. I am a great candidate because I can promise to give 110% on the field an in the classroom. What makes me different from others is that I truly am committed to this sport and I'm also super committed to growing every day as a player, teammate, and student.
