Shaheen Jafargholi is a Welsh professional actor best known for his role as Shakil Kazemi in EastEnders.
His character Shakil is the son of Umar and Carmel Kazemi (played by Selva Rasalingam and Bonnie Langford, respectively).
In the show, Shakil also has two elder brothers named Darius Kazemi (Ash Kizi) and Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadani).
Shaheen starred in 157 episodes of the show from 2016 to 2018. Shaheen's character was killed in the show after his friend Keegan (Zack Morris) steals a bike from a teen gang. Shakil is found stabbed to death by Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) and Masood Ahmed (Nitin Ganatra).
Although Shaheen's character was killed in 2018, fans still adore his onscreen portrayal of Shakin.
Additionally, Jafargholi has been a part of other successful TV shows like Children In Need, Holby City, and Casualty. He made his debut in 2006, playing the role of Danny in an episode of the TV series Torchwood.
Besides acting, the 25-year-old is also a talented singer. Shaheen has released a studio album titled When I Come of Age. Some of his famous songs include Lover Friend, Mind Reader, Nothing To Lose, Your Eyes, Who's Lovin' You, and Don't Walk Away.
Further, Jafargholi also competed in Britain's Got Talent in 2009. Unfortunately, he couldn't win the competition and ended up in the seventh position.
