Angela Britt our daughter, sister, granddaughter, friend, neighbor and classmate was a 2020 graduate of Western Branch High School and attended Tidewater Community College.
Angela was born on March 30, 2002 in Newport News, VA. She was the daughter of Bryon and Michelle Britt and a loving sister to Bryce Britt. Angela, a beautiful soul who departed us all too soon on May 19, 2022, was a talented vocalist with an amazing voice. Angela enthusiastically sang in the WBHS chorus and First Baptist Church South Hill choir.
Angela was a devoted, sincere friend and caring confidant who loved sports nearly as much as singing. She was a cheerleader and played on the field hockey team. Angela worked at a variety of local businesses in the Chesapeake community. Although Angela had many interests, her love for animals far exceeded them all. Angela demonstrated her passion for animals through volunteering at the Portsmouth Humane Society and later accepted employment there. Her dedicated rescue efforts benefited the lives of many.
Our Angela will certainly be truly missed.
In addition to her parents, Bryon and Michelle; her brother, Bryce, Angela leaves to cherish her memory: her Paternal Grandmother, Ernestine Stephens Britt and Maternal Grandparents, Augustine and Felicia Raphael and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
