If there is one thing that Beyoncé has remained consistent with — you know, aside from making great music and being a top-notch performer — it's her signature blonde hair color. So when the singer decides to switch it up, it's a major deal. Bey did exactly that on February 29, appearing on the cover of CR Fashion Book sporting a full-bodied copper color that had her twinning with her sister Solange.

The "Texas Hold 'Em" singer appeared on the cover of the fashion magazine in a neutral-colored outfit that allowed the fiery locks to pop against her skin. While the change appears to be wig magic at play, the tresses cascaded down to her waist and featured soft, stretched-out curls. Solange had a similar moment on the cover of Harper's Bazaar earlier this month, posing for the magazine with her natural blown-out hair dyed to a warm, fall-appropriate shade of red.
Bey's newest hair change offers a bit of nostalgia for members of the BeyHive. The last time the singer had a similar shade was back in 2019 when she filmed the video for "Spirit" for The Lion King reboot soundtrack. All the dancers had red hair for the video, even Blue Ivy, who made a cameo in the visual.
Fans in the comments section of the post where Bey debuted the new copper hair couldn't help but call the pop star Sharon, a throwback reference to her character Sharon Charles from the 2009 movie Obsessed. In the movie, Bey's character faces off against Lisa Sheridan, who threatens to tear her marriage apart by stalking her husband.
While the copper color is likely temporary, Bey has hit it out of the park with an update to her usual blonde — an icy platinum adorned with "the higher the hair, the closer to God" curls.
