She struck a manure spreader pulled by a tractor driven by Lyle Dicke from Goodhue. The collision occurred shortly after 10:30 am on 7 September 2021.

Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office revealed that Dicke was driving eastbound on a straight stretch of County Road 1 when he heard a loud bang and was pushed forward slightly. 

Upon inspecting, he realized that Amos had rear-ended the manure spreader. Dicke made a 911 call immediately, and emergency responders were dispatched to the scene. 

Amos was declared dead at the scene, and Dicke sustained no injury.

The incident caused a stir, as Amos was scheduled to appear in court regarding a fatal rear-end crash in 2020. She was accused of causing the death of Charles Sklavos, a Rochester resident.

On August 11, 2020, Brenna Amos was involved in a truck crash that killed Charles Sklavos. 

According to reports, Sklavos was driving his motorcycle and was stopped behind a car on County Road 1. Suddenly, a minivan hit him from behind. Sklavos died immediately at the crash site.

In connection with the accident, a misdemeanor charge of speed greater than reasonable or due care was brought against Brenna Amo. 

She was due to appear in Olmsted County District Court regarding the same matter on Monday, September 13, 2021. However, Amos’s death has put the hearing on hold.
