Caylin Hauptmann: From Beverly Hills High School to NFL

Caylin Hauptmann, an American football player born on July 10, 1991 in Los Angeles, California, has an estimated net worth of $14 million. He attended Beverly Hills High School and played center and tackle for the football team, breaking a 30-year old school record on shot put in track and field.

After graduating, Hauptmann played one season at left guard for College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita before transferring to Florida International University. He was named captain of the offensive line in 2011 and finished his college career starting all 37 games he appeared in, earning several accolades including two postseason all-conference team selections and a nomination for the Outland Award in 2012, the highest honor an offensive lineman can achieve in college.

Despite going undrafted during the 2013 draft, Hauptmann was signed as a free agent by the Cleveland Browns. He was later released and re-signed to the practice squad before being signed off the Browns’ practice squad by the Seattle Seahawks in September 2013.

Although he didn’t appear in any games during the season with the Seahawks, Hauptmann’s career in the NFL was just beginning. He went on to play for several other teams, including the New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs, and Los Angeles Rams, before retiring from football in 2019.
