Chantel Everett bagged a TLC show off the cuff of her 90 Day Fiance fame. Now, she’s starring in season four of The Family Chantel, which features her messy divorce from Pedro Jimeno. Ironically, she soared into the TV industry with him by her side, five years after Pedro and Chantel got married.
Following confirmation Chantel Everett and Pedro Jimeno are officially divorced, fans have quickly rushed to choose sides. But even TLC bosses appear to be in Chantel’s corner. The TV star claims she “deserves better”.
Chantel Everett has TLC on her side
Chantel featured in a recent TLC video captioned: “Chantel settled for far less than she felt she deserved #TheFamilyChantel.” The post shared a clip of the star saying Pedro Jimeno “deserves nothing”.
A fan wrote: “You can see the pain in her eyes, she deserves, so much better ♥.” In the video, Chantel says she feels as though she “deserves more than 50/50” but added that she’s “tired of the process”.
Chantel is a shared contributor to the post on the official TLC Instagram page. And although many fans are right behind the former 90 Day Fiance star, others are siding with Pedro, or blaming them both.

After Chantel claims she is “married to a scammer,” many shared their true opinions on social media. One said: “It was both of you. You let your family into your marriage and you all acted crazy. Same with his.”
Another wrote: “She needs to take accountability for her actions as well!” A fellow fan thought she “sounds bitter,” but some have Pedro’s back and have piped up to call Chantel out.
A Pedro fan penned: “Sorry team Pedro here. It’s funny how she feels that he deserves nothing when he was supporting her while she was in school. One thing I do believe is they were really in love.”

When did Pedro and Chantel get married?
Chantel and Pedro married in 2016 after a whirlwind courtship, having met through a mutual friend when she was on vacation in the Dominican Republic. But after six years, they called it quits.
They were set up by a friend as Chantel was looking for a Spanish tutor, and Pedro was looking for someone to help him with his English. Years later, they officially separated on 27 April 2022.
Mutual restraining orders were issued, as per court documents obtained by In Touch. They were restrained from “any act that injures, maltreats, vilifies, intimidates, molests or harasses the adverse party.”
