Personal Statement
(2017 High School Graduate From Northern Kentucky.) I have been playing softball since I was five years old. Since I first stepped on the diamond, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.
Starting out in TBall, and now determined to play at the college level. My main position is on the pitching mound. I do indeed take pitching lessons every Sunday for the past 8 years now. I have been playing on both JV and Varsity team for my high school team since the 6th grade in Middle School. (I'm currently a freshman in High School) As well as traveling teams for 4 years now (Northern Kentucky Bandits, Kentucky Xplosion, and Northern Kentucky Shooting Stars.)
I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find. I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the field. It's never too early to start planning this amazing career I have ahead of myself! I'm just your average small town girl with a big road ahead of her, and I'm ready to take any opportunity that may be thrown at me.
*My goal is to become a great role model to all peers and make my parents proud.*
