Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson is expected to enter training camp without any limitations.
"He'll be full-go," Colts general manager Chris Ballard said on The GM Shuffle podcast (h/t Nick Shook of NFL.com). "He was full-go all the way up until the last day of OTAs, and we had two heavy throwing sessions the two days before, and so we backed off a little on the last day."
Richardson's rookie year in 2023 was cut short after just four starts, undergoing season-ending surgery on his throwing shoulder.
The 22-year-old was off to a commendable start to his career prior to the surgery, showing why he was the No. 4 overall pick in the 2023 draft. Richardson completed 59.5 percent of his throws for 577 yards, recording three touchdown passes against one interception.
The former Florida standout was also a threat when the ball stayed in his hands, adding another 136 yards on the ground and finding the end zone four more times as a runner.

While he didn't suffer any major setbacks in his recovery, there was some concern when he was held back for the Colts' final practice of their mandatory minicamp.
However, head coach Shane Steichen revealed that the signal-caller was just dealing with some soreness in his shoulder and was healthy enough to play in a game if needed (via NFL Network's Ian Rapoport).
Richardson also downplayed the severity of his soreness when speaking to reporters.
"I'm good," he said, per Kevin Patra of NFL.com. "Just a little sore. I've been dealing with soreness since I started throwing -- just my shoulder. It's hard listening to the trainers telling me you've got to sit out for a day. I don't want to sit out, but it's part of the health journey."
After finishing the season with a 9-8 record and nearly earning a playoff berth, Indianapolis has kept most of the team's offense intact throughout the offseason. Despite losing running back Zack Moss in free agency, the Colts brought back 24-year-old Trey Sermon to serve as his replacement next to Jonathan Taylor.
The front office also extended one of Richardson's weapons, handing wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. a three-year contract worth $70 million.
The Colts will begin training camp on July 24.
