After Christopher dies in a car accident, Corrine moves back into her parents' home in Virginia with her children. As she has not informed her father Malcolm about her kids, Corrine and Olivia hide them in the attic.
Although their stay in the attic is meant to be for a few days, Corrine starts neglecting her children after finding a new love interest in the family lawyer Bart Winslow. Due to her negligence, the kids get stuck in the attic for nearly three years.

Catherine Dollanganger is the second child and first daughter of Christopher and Corrine. She is two years younger than her elder brother Chris.
Cathy gets married thrice; her first husband is Julian Marquet, whereas her second husband is Paul Sheffield. Cathy's third marriage is with her brother Chris.
After they reach South
Likewise, Cathy also goes on to have three children, named Julian Janus Marquet, Bart Scott Winslow Sheffield-Foxworth, and Cynthia Sheffield.
Carrie And Cory Dollanganger
Carrie and Cory are the twin children of Corrine and Christopher Dollanger. Carrie is the older of the two.
The twin siblings were born on May 5, 1952, in Gladstone, Pennsylvania. They eventually move to Virginia with their mother after their father's death.
Cory passes away from arsenic poisoning caused by eating powdered sugar doughnuts laced with rat poison. His death motivates his three siblings to escape from Foxworth Hall. Carrie, Cathy, and Chris use the money and jewelry they stole from their mother to reach South Carolina.
There, the siblings are sheltered and cared for by Dr. Paul Sheffield. He also adopts them as his own children and fulfills all their necessities.
Dr. Sheffield also sends Cathy to attend ballet classes, Carrie to study at a private school, and Chris to medical school. Chris wants to be a doctor to fulfill his father's and eventually succeeds in becoming one.
