Several people were heartbroken by the news of D’Sean Perry death, and they are curious to know the actual story behind his death.
On 13th November 2022, Three young students and footballers were killed in the parking garage on the campus of the University of Virginia.
According to authorities, They played football for the team of Virginia University.
D’Sean lost his life at a young age with two other young boys. He was a junior linebacker and played for his University’s football team for four seasons.
On 14th November on Monday, the President of Virginia University held a press conference and said, “We have announced a tragic death of civilian students they were shot and killed Sunday’s last night and the victims are Level Davis JR. he was a junior receiver of Dorchester, Devin Chandler, he was the junior receiver of Huntersville, and Dean was the junior defensive end/linebacker of Miami.”
He controlled his emotion during a press conference at the University. Further, he said, “The two other student who was shot with D’Sean were taken into hospital, and one is in good condition while the other state is in critical condition. While D’Sean and two other boys lost their life, The criminal is in custody”.
Police Chief Tim Longo revealed the name of the suspect shooter “the suspect in the shooting is identified as Christopher Darnell Jones and now he has been taken into custody.”
Further, he said, “He shot them before 11 a.m in Henrico County, Virginia University and the killer was 22 years old. He is charged with three counts of second-degree murder for using the handguns.’
In 2018, The criminal Jones was selected as a freshman running back for the Civilian, but he did not play for his team revealed by the authority.
The Football Community Sends Condolences
The community of the college football team and the University of Virginia students and administration gave condolences and prayers for the loss of three young footballers, and they said, “They will always remember them.”
Several people sent condolence to the D’Sean’s and two other boys’ families after they knew about the tragic death news of three young students and footballers at Virginia University.
Head coach of Virginia Tony Elliot said, “These were incredible young men with huge aspirations and extremely bright futures. Our hearts ache for their families, and their loved ones. These young men lost their life too soon. We are all fortunate to have them be a part of our lives. They touched us, incredibly inspired us, and worked hard as representatives of our program, University, and community. Rest in peace, young men.”
