Dani Laidley played for the North Melbourne and West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League(AFL) for nine years from 1987 to 1997, including in North Melbourne's 1996 premiership team.
She also worked as an assistant coach of Australian Rules Football and was the coach of North Melbourne from 2003 to 2009.
