It comes just a month after Silvia, 52, denied their marriage was in trouble โ and just a day after the published photos of the player kissing his lover in a hotel lobby.

"I can't speak for Silvia, but they have been working on getting divorced for a few months," a spokesman for the 51-year-old star said. They wish to proceed at their own pace.
"They live their own lives while having a good understanding of one another."
The couple has two daughters and lives in The Hague, Holland. Barney also has an older son from a previous relationship, but he admits he does not communicate with him.

Why Raymond Van Barneveld & Sylvia Parted Ways?
Raymond Van Barneveld is currently going through a divorce from his wife.
However, shortly after being photographed with Julia in the hotel, he confirmed the end of his relationship with Sylvia.
The Dutchman's relationship with Sylvia was reportedly strained by his time away from home at tournaments, and Sylvia was robbed at gunpoint while he was competing in summer 2018.

Van Barneveld stated after the incident, "My marriage is a big problem." It has an effect there, particularly if you are robbed in your own home.
"In June, a loaded gun was pointed at my wife's head.
She no longer wants to live in the house, according to Barney, because she is afraid. "We must live separately. She wishes to rent an apartment. She is terrified."
The court case is ongoing as the World Championship begins.

Julia Evans, a 37-year-old British beauty, began an official relationship with Raymond van Barneveld in April 2019.
The Sun, however, caught them kissing in a hotel in February.

She went on to say that they first met at a darts tournament in Southampton, adding: "We started talking and chit-chatted for a while. There was a genuine click, which surprised me as well.
"He is kind and patient. I understand him, and he understands me. I believe we would get along well."
