On March 21, 2022, Delois Tine Kee went home to be with the Lord.  She was born in Seaboard North Carolina on June 23, 1948, to Alice Nell -Hunter and George Thomas Kee.   

Delois retired from Portsmouth Social service where she worked for 20 plus years as an eligibility worker.  She went on to work for BASF in household management.  She recently worked in the family business doing household management.  Her labor of love was taking care of her family.  Her sibling always reflect on how well she took care of them when they were younger. She met and fell in love with her soul mate Willie (Slim) Alexander.  They joined in holy matrimony, and each declared the other their soul mate.    Delois’ labor of love was being her mother’s caretaker before her mother passed.  She enjoyed reading books and loved gardening.  When spring would come, she would start working on her yard planting colorful plants.  One other thing she loved to do was eat crabs.  Her true passion and gift were loving her family and friends.  She enjoyed spending time talking with her best friend Judy.   She rarely missed an opportunity to support events her family and friends were involved in.  Delois gave her life to Christ at an early age.  She was a member of Miracle of Faith.  Once married she joined New Hope with her husband Willie (Slim).   

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband Willie Alexander:  daughter Javonnie A Kee- grandchildren: Jalessa M Kee and Lola A Kee. Siblings Gloria J. Wright (Devonya,Trina&,Willistine), Lorray Kee-Dingle(Dennard, Ebony) Sharon Gallman (George & Sequita), Deborah Carter (Dennis Jr & Dennis D), George T Kee (Brenda) and Malcom Kee. Extended family Judy Moore (Kevin), Karen King (Chris) Alex- Brandon and Justin, Terri Corprew and Step children Jason Walker (Jason & Jayden), Rosalind Alexander (Nishara, Angel & Raneal) & Daniela Alexander and a host of family and friends.
