The shocked maid discovered the DJ from the Ellen DeGeneres show who shot himself in a hotel room in Los Angeles this week, the hotel management informed DailyMail.com.
Around 10.30 am on Monday, Stephen tWitch Boss, 40, a veteran executive producer of Ellen’s show, checked into room 249 at the Oak Tree Inn in Encino.
Manager Rakesh claimed, “He went inside his room and he never came out.”
The maid opened the door to check on the room on Tuesday at 11.15 am. Although no one was present, his belongings were inside.
When she looked in the restroom, she discovered blood all over.
She was terrified. This is the first time that has ever occurred here.
The 911 operator instructed us to check his pulse, but there was none, and he was declared dead when the paramedics and police arrived.
Workers described the situation as awful and claimed that the man shot himself in the head, but no one heard the gunfire.
He left the house on Monday without his car, and when he didn’t come home by Tuesday — vanished overnight — his wife hurried to report him missing.
On Wednesday morning, Boss’ family members arrived to care for his heartbroken wife and children at his six-bedroom Encino home, embracing his sobbing son as he raced out to meet them.
According to one, the family declined to comment.
Stephen is the father of three children: Zaia, 3, Maddox Laurel, 6, and Weslie Renae, 14, who was born in Alison‘s previous relationship but was adopted by Stephen.
The So You Think You Can Dance star and his dance teacher wife Alison, 34, met each other on the show in 2010.
According to a sign on the family’s front lawn, daughter Weslie is scheduled to attend Notre Dame University with the class of 2026; therefore, the suicide has cast a shadow over her promising future.
She also participates in modeling for athletic gear and is a young influencer for companies like her parents’ Dick’s Sporting Goods.
She also plays soccer for her school’s soccer squad.
Three days before his passing, the pair were enjoying their ninth wedding anniversary when they appeared on the show in November.
They were content and optimistic about the future.
Boss and his wife uploaded a touching video of them dancing online to commemorate the event.
He began working on Ellen’s show in 2014 and continued until 2022 when he was promoted to executive producer.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner determined that he committed suicide and shot himself in the head with a gun.
Us Weekly verifies that there were no signs of foul play and that the case is now concluded.
