Personal Statement
My name is Evan Reynolds. I am a class of 2022 forward for West Orange High School, West Orange, New Jersey. I am an all-around player who aggressively strives to assist my team in articulating strategic plays and scoring. As a forward, I handle responsibilities well inside and outside the paint. I am an intense defensive player, exhorting power to hustle to defend the rim. On offense, I establish plays in the post. The best attributes of my game are rebounding, blocking shots, and accessing.
Since I was young, I have always loved the game of basketball. Watching several family members play sports became my motivation to play at the college level. I have aspired to be an outstanding student-athlete and a strong leader. I have a 3.2-grade point average. On and off the court, I push myself and others to work hard and make the right decisions. As I finish high school and start my college career, I am excited to learn from a coach and teammates who will take my game to the next level. When entering college, I hope to pursue my passion for film and communication.
