The Essex Fire and Rescue Service and the broader community of Windsor, ON are in mourning following the sudden passing of dedicated firefighter Jared Robert Burns. Burns, who also worked for Vollmer Inc in Windsor, was only 42 years of age at the time of his death.
While no cause of death has been reported as yet, the news of his passing has sent shockwaves throughout the community. Jared Burns was a well-respected and cherished member of both the Essex Fire and Rescue Service and the Windsor community.
Burns leaves behind his beloved wife, Jennifer Lynn (Martin). As the community grieves this tragic loss, they also remember and honor Burns for his service, dedication, and the legacy he leaves behind.
