Skip Bayless slams Lakers star, LeBron James, for his terrible decision-making as the game clock expired in their loss to the Kings.

LeBron James is easily one of the greatest players to ever lace up. Over the course of his career, the King has given Michael Jordan a real run for his money, or rather his throne, to be anointed as the GOAT.
In the eyes of many though, that hasn’t quite happened just yet. And perhaps the biggest reason for this is the player’s performances in clutch situations.

Of course, the player has had several highlight-worthy plays during clutch moments over the course of his career. However, for the most part, trolls on social media keep pointing to his ‘lack of a clutch gene’.
And while the argument for that is a bit iffy to be honest, the Chosen one may just have bolstered it after his recent performance against the Sacramento Kings. Skip Bayless couldn’t wait to say something about it.

Not only is LeBron James back, but he also gave the ‘Undisputed’ show host a present for his patience. In his return, the King had just 16 points, on a respectable 6-12 from the field, but an abysmal 1-5 from three.
One of the 5 shots he attempted from deep, was one taken in the final seconds of the game. The score was stuck at 106-108 in favor of the Kings. If he made it, James would have sealed the game for the Lakers. But he missed badly, with the shot violently bouncing off the back of the rim.

After the game ended, Skip Bayless tweeted this out.
To be fair to the analyst, he has a point. James was clearly having an awful shooting night. Perhaps it would have been better to take it to the rack and potentially draw the and-one.
Hindsight is always 20/20 though. The only thing Lakers fans can really do now is hope LeBron James can play better with every passing game, and hopefully be at 100% when it’s time for the playoffs.
