Personal Statement
I am a diligent student, who pursues both academic and athletic challenges, a straight-A student, 4-sport athlete, an Eagle Scout and musician (piano/trombone). When the pandemic hit, I challenged myself to achieve the highest grades while actively participating in four varsity sports. Baseball is the one sport that dwarfs all others in my love for the game. Of my varied life experiences thus far, pitching is my favorite thing to do. I love getting up to the mound, being in charge of the game, leading the speed of the game. I try hard to play and train throughout the year even when the weather is limiting in Alaska. I look forward to working on my skills, growing as a baseball player and improving, in hopes to fuse my commitment to academics and passion for baseball. I aspire to be a hardworking, loyal partner to a collegiate baseball program.
