Personal Statement
I love baseball. I love playing baseball. I love watching baseball. Since I was little I've dreamed of playing college baseball. The things I have learned about myself through playing club and high school baseball make me think I can be an asset to a college program. I always have a positive attitude on the field and celebrate my team and teammates successes above my own. I enjoy working hard on the field to make myself a better player.
Off the field I have learned commitment and perseverance in several ways. I'm about to end my fourth year of an early morning seminary class I attend before school starts. I earned my Eagle Award in Boy Scouts of America. on March 8, 2018. BSA has given me many opportunities for leadership among my peers as well as service in my community. For the past two years I've run a landscaping and handy man service. I recently started giving private lessons to elementary school baseball players.
I would like to pursue a degree in education and become a coach. I feel like I am a very coachable player who will represent my team and school honorably.
