Claire Jenkins mother Bonnie Jenkins is the Executive Director of the USET Foundation. Bonnie has served in that position since 2003.

Bonnie Jenkins joined the United States Equestrian Team Foundation (USET) in 2003. USET Foundation is a philanthropic partner of US Equestrian, which supports the competition, training, coaching, travel, and educational needs of America's elite by developing International High-Performance horses and athletes.

Bonnie has been involved in equestrian sports ever since she was a student at Lake Forest College in Illinois. She graduated in 1982. Three years after her graduation, Jenkins joined the American Horse Shows Association in 1985, where she also served as an Executive Director for three years from 1992 to 1995. She then served as the Executive Director of the American Hunter Jumper Council from 1995 to 1999 and of the United States Equestrian Team from 2001 to 2003.

Bonnie has served as the Executive Director of the USET Foundation for twenty years. She was sworn to the position by the Chief Executive Officer of the USEF, John R. Long, and the Board Chairman of the USET Foundation, Frank V. Lloyd, in December 2004. She was deemed a worthy candidate for the post as she played an instrumental role in transforming the USET and USEF into one unified national governing body. 

Bonnie Jenkins has a proven skillset in various areas of her profession, including fundraising, event planning, board development, philanthropy, event management, and program development, among many others.
