McRoberts Active vs. Bucks

Friday, Jan. 29

The Heat announced that McRoberts will be available on Friday on a minutes restriction.

McRoberts Adds Important PF Depth

Knee problems have plagued McRoberts throughout his career. His 2014-15 season ended on Dec. 23, 2014, when the Heat announced that he had surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee.

The Heat had slowly been working McRoberts back into the rotation before his latest setback. The former Duke star has appeared in 20 games this season, recording just 3.3 points and 3.0 rebounds per game.

Fortunately for the Heat, they have depth at power forward to withstand a long absence by McRoberts. Chris Bosh is the entrenched starter, while Udonis Haslem is a capable backup.

They are firmly in the midseason playoff mix, so McRoberts' return should only make things easier for the rotation.
