Personal Statement
My name is Josh Clark and I am a senior at Bellevue West High School. I have played soccer since the age of 4, when my parents registered me for a local recreational team. When I was 10 my parents registered me at Bellevue Soccer Club where I have been playing ever since.
I have been on my current club team, BSC Cosmos (U19), since 2014 under Coach Tom White as a starting left wing/striker/left back. I am a left wing at heart but I also love to play at the striker and left back position as well. I am passionate about the game and am always looking to improve my abilities on the field.
I have been a starter on my Varsity team as either a Left Back or Left Wing position since my freshman year. Last academic year I was named as Academic All-State for Spring 2019. I pride myself in giving my best effort on the field and in the classroom.
I am looking for a college where I can grow both on the field and academically. I look forward to another coach's perspective on how to play the game and improvements I can make to become a better player.
