The Kansas City Chiefs will be without wide receiver Kadarius Toney for Sunday's AFC Championship Game, but, to hear him tell it, it's not because he is actually injured.
While the Chiefs ruled Toney out because of a hip injury and personal reasons, Ethan Sears of the New York Post noted the wide receiver posted a rant on Instagram Live that accused the team of lying about his status.
"Y'all reading all this cap--s s--t? You didn't believe it, I don't give a f--k," Toney said. "Ain't never been a n---a to do all that but man, that s--t cap.
"I'm not hurt. None of that s--t. Save that s--t. S--k my d--k too. I'm not hurt. None of that. It goes from hip to ankle to this to that."

To say this has been a disappointing season for Toney even before he was ruled out for Sunday's game would be an understatement.
He finished the year with 27 catches for a career-low 169 yards and one touchdown and became something of a household name among football fans because of his mistakes rather than his impressive play.
It started early, as he deflected a pass that he should have caught into the air that the Detroit Lions then intercepted and returned for a touchdown during Week 1. The Lions ended up winning by a single point.
Yet the most notable moment came during a Week 14 loss to the Buffalo Bills, when Toney went from temporary hero to worthy of blame with one flag.

The Chiefs were down three in the final minutes when Travis Kelce hauled in a Patrick Mahomes pass and threw a lateral across the field to Toney, who then ran it in for a touchdown. However, the play was called back because Toney lined up in the neutral zone at the snap, which took away what would have been one of the most memorable moments of the season.
Toney hasn't played since a Week 15 win over the New England Patriots.
He is also more of an afterthought in the team's aerial attack at this point behind Kelce, Rashee Rice and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. He won't be on the field for Sunday's game, but he made sure he was a storyline prior to kickoff.
