Kyle Richards and Mauricio’s house situation
Kyle and Mauricio’s house situation is unique, they live together and cooks the family dinners, but they still have different bedrooms. Plus, they are “fortunately in the position where we have other homes.”
When it was suggested they could live in separate houses, Kyle admitted they don’t and told SiriusXM: “He spent a lot of time in Aspen recently while I was here and then I went there for two weeks with our daughters.”
She added: “If you didn’t know us, you’d think everything was normal. I’m making dinner, we’re together, but we’re in different rooms and I have my house in LaQuinta. It’s not like you go here, I go there.”
Mauricio ‘did not have a penny’
Kyle and Mauricio are in therapy as they go through separation. She said he didn’t want her to say they were having problems in their marriage on Instagram, and that her daughter felt the same.
“I’ve been married almost my entire adult life and like, I don’t even know what life is without being with Mauricio. It’s hard and it’s painful and it’s scary,” Kyle admitted to SiriusXM.
She also spoke of how she’d “get divorced 100 percent if we’re not going to be together.” Kyle added: “I would not live like that. I would because psychologically, I would need to move on.”
Kyle also revealed her and Mauricio did not have a prenup. “My husband did not have a penny when I married him. He was in the clothing business when I met him making no money.”
Her mom lent the couple money when they were first married, and there was even one Christmas they didn’t have cash for presents. They “built everything together” and would “probably keep their homes.”
‘I don’t know life without Mauricio’
Kyle admitted she “doesn’t even know what life is without being with Mauricio,” adding she never thought she’d be in this position, and still “loves him very much.”
She said: “He’s also my friend and I do love him very much. That’s what’s also hard. If it was one of these situations where you’re like, “Oh, I can’t stand this guy.” This would be so easy for me. Of course.”
However, the RHOBH star didn’t forget there were “things” in their marriage they’d “put aside,” such as her “nursing baby” and “getting pregnant”. She said: “I thought I knew where I’d be until the day I died.”
