The game wasn't without its drama, as Cuba trailed 3-0 in the bottom of the sixth before this bomb from Luis Aparicio:

But Cuba couldn't find one more run, and that will end an eventful run at the LLWS that included being no-hit by Japan and knocking Australia out of the tournament.
Panama now faces the loser of Japan vs. Chinese Taipei. That game will be held on Tuesday at 5 p.m. ET (ESPN).
Rhode Island def. Pennsylvania, 7-2
Bryce Harper and the Philadelphia Phillies were in Willamsport to cheer on Media and play a Sunday night game against the Washington Nationals, but the team from PA couldn't take home the win against Rhode Island.

Rhode Island hasn't minded being in the bottom half of the bracket one bit. They seem to thrive on the pressure:

They'll continue to have that pressure, with another elimination game on Tuesday (7 p.m. ET, ESPN) against the loser of Texas vs. California.
Mexico def. Canada, 10-1
The kids from Tijuana aren't going home just yet.
Mexico staved off elimination against Canada on Saturday, bashing their way to a 10-1 win.
Canada got on the board first in the first inning, but it was all Mexico from there, highlighted by an eight-run outburst in the fourth and Jorge Lizarraga's 10 strikeouts:

It was the end of the road for Canada, though the Regina team's win over Czech Republic was the first win by a Saskatchewan team in LLWS history.
As for Mexico, the loser of Curaçao vs. Venezuela is up next on Tuesday at 1 p.m. ET (ESPN).
Nevada def. North Dakota, 7-1
Nolan Gifford is raking.
The Nevada slugger hit his second homer in as many days, helping lead his team to a 7-1 win over North Dakota on Sunday afternoon:

Since losing to Rhode Island to start the LLWS, Nevada now has 20 runs in two games. The kids from Henderson will be in action again on Tuesday (3 p.m. ET, ESPN) against the loser of Washington vs. Tennessee.
North Dakota's tournament is over.
