Ludacris, the rapper and actor, has owned multiple properties in Los Angeles and Georgia. In 2007, he purchased a condo in Los Angeles for a little over $1 million and later bought a second unit in the same building. However, he sold one of the units at a loss of around $200,000.
In January 2014, Ludacris bought a home in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles for $4.8 million. He also owns a large estate in Fayetteville, Georgia, which is his primary legal residence. In 2009, a fire destroyed his pool house, but Ludacris was not home at the time of the incident.
Ludacris Faced Child Support Battle with Former Girlfriend
In 2014, Ludacris was taken to court by his former girlfriend Tamika Fuller over child support payments for their daughter Cai. Fuller demanded $15,000 a month, but Ludacris reported struggling financially, with an income of just $55,000 for the previous year. He expected a big payday from upcoming Fast and the Furious movies, but production was halted due to Paul Walker’s death. Ludacris used Georgia law to argue that both parents’ income should be taken into account, and payments should not exceed $1,800 a month. The judge ultimately ordered payments of $7,000 a month.
In the following 18 months, Ludacris earned around $8 million from his musical and acting endeavors.
Ludacris’ Private Jet Collection
Ludacris is known for his love of aviation and has owned several private jets over the course of his career. He even has a pilot’s license. One of his previous private jets was a Hawker 700 worth between $900,000 and $1.5 million.
In May 2022, Ludacris announced on Instagram that he had purchased a major upgrade to his private jet collection. His new jet was a 14-passenger, 1984 Dassault Falcon 900 that cost $3-4 million.
