Grueling challenges and Bushtucker Trials are fully underway this November as ITV’s I’m A Celebrity is back. Soap stars, sporting legends, musicians, and more famous faces make up this year’s cast. Made in Chelsea’s Sam Thompson is one of the series 23 campmates.
While some of the contestants were busy trying to win stars for camp, Sam named himself, Nick Pickard, and Tony Bellew the “lads.” Sam was delighted to be spending time with Tony during episode 12. It appears that the two are forming a friendship while in the jungle.

Sam’s height compared to campmates
As Sam and Tony took part in challenges during I’m A Celebrity on November 30, fans may have noticed the men’s height difference.
Former professional boxer Tony is 6 ft 3, and JLS band member Marvin Humes is 6 ft.
Frankie Dettori’s height is 5 ft 4. Fred Sirieix is 5 ft 10, and The Telegraph reports that Nigel Farage is 5 ft 8.

MIC star is scared of heights
If I’m A Celeb fans weren’t commenting on Sam Thompson’s height, they were tweeting about his sudden fear of heights upon joining the ITV show.
Taking to X (Twitter), one fan wrote: “Sam finding out that he is scared of heights on a building during a challenge on I’m A Celeb.”
Some viewers found it hilarious that Sam had an “epiphany” during a challenge: “Sam didn’t know he was scared of height till he does this.”
Despite feeling scared, Sam faced his fears. The Channel 4 star continues on in the competition while some contestants have left early.
