Personal Statement
I am a dedicated worker on and off the field. I have always excelled academically, but I'm constantly working to do better. On the pitch, I strive to be the best player I can be, and I focus on how I can improve my own skills and also communicate with my teammates. I can be very vocal, and I am often described as the "coach on the field." I'm always the first one at practice or a game, and I'm always the last one to leave as well.
My coaches/mentors describe me as a leader, coach-able, and "the play-maker." I play varsity soccer in the spring and club in the fall. I am currently on Rush Wisconsin. Unlike other players, I haven’t been in soccer my whole life. I started halfway through middle school and from there it was something I could see myself doing forever. I drastically improved each year, learning from my mistakes at every practice and game, and taking in all the advice I could get from teammates and coaches. I take pleasure in being around other people who are as devoted to the game as I am.
I always want to play at a higher level because I believe that's how I improve, being around athletes who are the same or greater than me. I absolutely love a challenge. I am ready for the high-intensity level of college soccer, and I couldn't be more excited.
