Personal Statement
I have been blessed with an incredible family that has supported my love for the game of volleyball. My parents have always encouraged me to follow my dreams.
From an athletic standpoint, my dream has always been to play volleyball at a collegiate level. Any team I am placed on, I strive to be a leader. I will hold myself and my teammates accountable for putting in work at the gym to be successful on the court. I am an extremely competitive person and it pushes me to become a better teammate and individual every day of my life.
From an academic standpoint, my dream is to be successful in college and advance to a career in a medical or business program. To achieve my aspirations I stay very focused on my school work. I have taught myself how to manage my time between volleyball and school. I hold high standards for myself that have led me to maintain a high GPA throughout school.
I pride myself on my work ethic in the classroom and on the court. If a coach shows me a way to improve my skills I will persistently work towards bettering myself as an athlete. Once I complete what they have asked of me, I will work even harder to make sure they never have to repeat the correction. I am very driven to achieve my goals and I will put in the work to do so.
