Personal Statement

Running is one of my passions. I do believe I am a talented runner, but I also push myself every practice because I truly want to excel. I am about 115 pounds and 5'6; I have been captain of my cross country and track teams for the past two years. My best 5k time is 18:56 this season, 3200 meters is 11:04, and 1600 meters is 5:08; I was also third team all state (NJ), Sectional Champion in the 3200 meters for both winter and spring track, and I finished 18th at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions for track this past spring. I am open to different types of schools. I love writing, and I plan to major in English, political science, or law. I want to play at the college level and I am open to Division I, II, and III schools.
