Personal Statement

I wake up every morning with an attitude of gratitude and push myself to be the best that I can be. I work hard on the field and off the field training athletically and academically everyday, as well as my character and how I treat others. Baseball is more than a game to me, it is like a mentor that teaches me many life lessons such as: Patience, Heart and believing, Sportsmanship, dealing with failure and success, performing under pressure, and last but not least, teamwork.

One of my main goals is to go to a college and be a student athlete at a university fit for my field of study and be a high performing athlete day in and day out. Then eventually being drafted into the MLB and working my way up to the Majors. I am very goal orientated and nothing satisfies me more than achieving goals set by myself. I give my all to be the best at what I do specifically (getting on base, RBI's, making all my plays on defense and being a team player to help the team win) to ensure that everyday that goes by, I know that I am making myself better!
