Neil Bluhm is a successful American businessman with a net worth of $2.8 billion. He owns and operates Rivers Casino in Pennsylvania and Chicago, as well as Casino Niagara in New York. Born to a Jewish family in 1938, Bluhm studied at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Northwestern University law school.

Bluhm started his career as a lawyer at Mayer, Brown & Platt in Chicago, where he eventually became a partner. In 1970, he teamed up with his college roommate to found JMB Realty, which generated most of their profits until the real estate crash of the early 1990s.
