Personal Statement
As a kid, my dream has always been to play baseball at the collegiate level. From my first T-ball game at the age of 4, till now, my passion for the game has only continued to grow. I consider myself a strong and capable team leader, with a very high IQ of the game. My experience behind the plate for my school's team and travel teams have provided valuable competitive experience that most underclassman do not possess.
Off the field, the pride I take in my academics is just as fierce as the pride I take as an athlete. I maintain a high GPA while taking advanced classes. Next year my intention is to take AP classes and be inducted into National Honors Society.
My goal is to attain the best education possible while competing as a catcher with a solid baseball program. I believe my high energy, IQ, leadership skills, and immense passion for the game can contribute in many ways to your program. I hope to attend a college that will provide the best opportunity for me to succeed in life both on the field and off.
