Personal Statement
My goal in college is to pursue a major in Business and Finance and to meet new friends and enjoy my four years at school. I attend a college prep school that's known for rigorous academics and athletics; St. Anthony's High School in Huntington, NY. My GPA is a 3.8 and I always strive to give my best effort and to be a positive influence in everything I do. I conduct myself in a professional manner both on and off the field as I know my actions reflect back on my name, my coaches, my team, and my school. I am agile and fast and run a sub 6.8 60. I'm consistently a high .300+ batter, as well as strong performer in clutch batting situations. I am able to perform at my level due to my commitment to athletic and skills training several days a week. As I continue to grow both physically and mentally I strive to be an asset to the batting, outfield, and pitching rotations. I am reliable and consistently demonstrate strong character traits which is the reason I was chosen to be a Co-Team Captain of the St. Anthony's High School Baseball Team. In addition to being team co-captain, I have also always been involved in Boy Scouts and have successfully completed hundreds of hours of community service. I completed and obtained my Eagle Scout Rank for my service project for the LT. Michael P. Murphy Navy Seal Museum in Sayville, NY. I'm really excited about playing baseball at a high academic institution where I can be a major contributor in the classroom as well as on the baseball field.
