The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards found fame as a child actress. She appeared in movies and TV series prior to her reality TV stardom including Little House on the Prairie and Escape to Witch Mountain. Now, Kyle Richards is showcasing her acting talents again. This time she’s starring alongside Real Housewives of Salt Lake City‘s Lisa Barlow.

As we enter the depths of the holiday season, Peacock fans are unearthing some absolute gems in the reality TV world.
It turns out that any Christmas movies previously hailed as the go-to favorites can be cast to the bottom of the pile because Real Housewives of the North Pole is here.
The movie has been around for a couple of years, but it’s resurfacing this Christmas.
When fans first laid eyes on the release, some asked “What the hell is Real Housewives of the North Pole?” and others said: “I don’t know anymore, you guys…” after watching it.
The Real Housewives of the North Pole, which has been renamed without ‘real’ since its initial release, is a Christmas movie directed by Ron Oliver. It has a run time of 1 hour and 24 minutes and features Betsy Brandt and Kyle Richards as its leading cast members.
The movie follows two best friends Diana (Betsy) and Trish (Kyle) who live in North Pole, Vermont.
The besties are also next-door neighbors who spent years collaborating on their Christmas decorations. But, their tradition goes pear-shaped after the ladies fall out. They end up competing against each other and an unexpected love story blossoms within their families.

Kyle showcases ‘fine acting’
According to loyal fans who have watched The Housewives of the North Pole, Kyle is showcasing her “fine acting” talents in the movie.
The 54-year-old also received some criticism for her role of Trish in the film. But, although fans say Kyle “won’t be winning Oscars” for her performance, many say they “love her.”
Taking to the comments section of movie’s official trailer, one wrote: “Love this! Is Kyle the greatest actor out there? No , but no Christmas movie tv actor is, and that in my opinion is the beauty of it. She is actually not that bad.”
More commented on Kyle’s daughter, Portia Umanksy’s, Girl Scout Catherine role in the movie, writing on X (Twitter): “OMG PORTIAAA was in the real housewives of the north pole and she BODIEDDD her line!!!!! the acting gene runneth STRONG in the richards family!!”
Real Housewives of North Pole welcomes another star
The 2021 movie not only features Real Housewife Kyle, but there are more familiar faces from the Bravo franchise starring in The Housewives of The North Pole.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey, Potomac’s Karen Huger, New York City’s Sonja Morgan, and Salt Lake City’s Lisa Barlow all star in the movie, too.
Speaking of Lisa’s appearance in the movie, one X user suggested she should get her own film writing: “A Real Housewives of the North Pole spin-off movie focused on HER flipping houses to Santa and Elves.”
Another said: “Not me watching The Real Housewives of the North Pole and screaming with excitement at @LisaBarlow7 ’s cameo.”
