In 2017, Reza and Adam purchased a 1,600 sq. ft. home in North Hollywood’s Toluca Woods neighborhood. The house was built in the 1940s and required renovation. The couple spent $400,000 to update the home, which had a choppy layout and needed repairs. The living room was the master bedroom, and the kitchen had one small window and a beehive fireplace nicknamed “the pizza oven.” The bathroom floor was also in poor condition, and jumping in the bathroom could lead to ending up in the crawl space.
