RHOP dropped its mid-season trailer on December 15 and it looks like the drama is set to go through the roof in season 8’s second half. Some of the ladies are wanting to expand their families, while others are headed for divorce.
Mia Thornton is visibly shocked when she’s told she’s “not sleeping with her husband anymore.” It’s not just Mia and Gordon Thornton who are having marital issues in The Real Housewives of Potomac season 8. Ashley Darby says that she’s “divorcing” husband Michael. And, Chris Bassett tells Candiace Dillard Bassett: “You’re never here and I don’t have time with you.”

The Real Housewives of Potomac’s mid-season trailer looks to be jam-packed with drama.
Taking center stage is Mia and Gordon Thornton’s cheating scandal.
The two are seen navigating “changes” in their marriage during the first half of season 8 and attend marriage counseling.
Mia explained that she was “going to be filing for divorce,” in counseling and Gordon said that he didn’t realize it had “gotten that bad with her.”
Speaking on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen this December, Mia said that she and Gordon are currently “separated” but are co-parenting and “communicating well.”
The Bravo star added that she’s “committed” to someone new following her separation.
Gordon ‘drops line of the season’
RHOP‘s mid-season sneak peek sees all of the cast members going through emotional times.
But fans are convinced that Gordon “drops the line of the season” in the preview.
When the clip cuts to Gordon and Mia, he says: “You’ve been cheating for several years.”
Gordon adds: “I’m done,” before Mia replies: “Gordon, that’s not fair.”
He continues: “If you want fair, go to a carnival.”

Of all of the season 8 preview clip moments, fans seem to be most surprised by Gordon’s “carnival” comment.
