According to PEOPLE, Hannah Lee Fowler, Sam Hunt’s wife, a country singer, has filed for divorce just months before the couple’s first child is due, claiming that the star cheated on her.

Sam Hunt’s wife has filed for divorce, alleging adultery as the cause for their 5-year marriage and 14 years of being together.

Hannah Lee Fowler claims Sam is “guilty of inappropriate marital conduct” and “guilty of infidelity” in legal docs obtained by TMZ.

“The husband is guilty of such cruel and inhuman treatment or conduct against the spouse as renders cohabitation hazardous or improper,” according to the boilerplate code clause Hannah references.

According to the documents, Hannah had not mentioned her pregnancy to Sam, but she is expecting delivery in May.

According to PEOPLE, the divorce news and adultery charges have received no response from Fowler or a representative for Hunt.

Sam’s Hunt Wife filed the paperwork in Tennessee, which does not have a no-fault divorce law. She’s requesting alimony from Sam and also wants primary custody of their upcoming baby.

She is also demanding for child support.

It’s unclear if they have a written agreement, but she asks that “the parties be granted their respective distinct property,” which suggests they do.

Hannah wants “transitional alimony, rehabilitative alimony, and alimony in the future” when it comes to alimony.

Hunt later revealed that he proposed to his girlfriend while on vacation to Israel during an interview on The Bobby Bones Show.

Hunt had a grand plan for the proposal, but it almost didn’t turn out since the couple had a petty fight before asking her for marriage.

He said that a minor disagreement made the ideal opportunity for a marriage proposal.

The couple married in April 2017, but they’ve been together for more than a decade and have been through a lot together.

Hunt has given a few insights into their relationship through his songs, even though they have kept their romance primarily out of the spotlight.

Sam’s CD, “Montevallo,” is about his romance with Hannah. They met in the same Alabama town when he was a quarterback at the University of Alabama, Birmingham.

Hunt’s tune “Drinkin’ Too Much,” which was released as part of the “Southside” album, was about his relationship with Fowler.

Hunt has previously indicated an interest in expanding their family, telling the TC & Dina radio show on KISS Country 99.9 Miami in July that he and Fowler had “really” begun thinking about having children.

Hunt was accused of driving under the influence and breaking the open container law in 2019.

According to the arrest warrant, officers noticed Hunt weaving between lanes and pulled him over.
