Tammy Slaton reveals she’s gay
Tammy has revealed she is a lesbian. She told her TikTok followers she’s “just a supporter of everybody” before adding she previously “said she was pansexual.”
The 1000-lb Sisters cast member casually told fans: “So, I’m like, lesbian.” Recent videos showed Tammy using the LGBTQ and transgender flag in her TikTok captions, leading people to think she is trans.
“I’m not trans, I’m just a supporter of everybody,” she said in response to why she shared a transgender flag emoji on her platform. She believes “love is love” regardless of sexual preference.
She ‘stopped messing with guys’
Tammy “stopped messing with guys” after her husband Caleb died in June 2023. She “previously came out as pansexual in 2021, when she was in a relationship with then-boyfriend Jerry. Tammy said: “It’s about how they make me feel, not how they look.”
It comes after a recent episode from the show – which is filmed months in advance – saw her admit she and Caleb had been talking about having children in the future.
Her marriage with Caleb hit a rough patch in May 2023 as she was reportedly ready to file for divorce. She was able to move on a few months later and created a dating profile in October 2023, per the US Sun.

1000-lb Sisters star is a ‘lover’
Confirming she “was just showing support,” Tammy made it clear she’s “not a hater” before adding: “Everybody deserves love, whether gay, straight, trans, pan, bi, binary, non-binary, whatever.”
She added, “I am just a lover.” Her Facebook dating profile claimed she was looking for a “long-term relationship.” When she came out as pansexual, Tammy said, “I always thought I was bisexual.”
“Then I started talking to one of my friends and she told me she was pansexual, and I asked her kind of what it meant. It means you love everybody, not just the same sex,” the TLC star added.
Tammy continued to reveal: “And I was like, ‘Well, I guess I am too,’ because I wouldn’t mind being with someone who’s transgender, or whatever.”
