Terry Ann Harvey was born April 6, 1960 to Eddie Lee and Shirley Irene Fowlkes in Harlem, New York. Terry was a former member of Kingdom Healing International Church where the Pastor is Jaijuan Jones, in Chesapeake, Virginia. She resided with her husband Dayron Harvey in Norfolk, Virginia.
Terry was a graduate of Nottaway High School class of 1979. She then continued her secondary education at Norfolk State University. She pursued her career in Health Care, as a Pharmacy Technician at the Norfolk Health Department for thirty (30) years. A lover of the Word of God and a dynamic speaker is who she was. Terry had a beautiful smile and constantly showed it. She had love for people and loved to socialize. She was very fashionable, and it showed in her style of dress, hair, nails, and make-up. Terry was well groomed. We love you Terry, you will always be in our hearts. Take your rest.
She is survived by her husband Dayron Harvey; her mother Shirley Irene Fowlkes, her daughter LaShawna Irene Fowlkes; her son Purnell “Joshua” Fowlkes-Sturdivant (ShaQunda Sturdivant); her brother Roger Ford; four (4) grandchildren, Ayana Sturdivant, Malachi Sturdivant, Ali Sturdivant and Serenity Sturdivant; two (2) aunts, Martha Bryant and Thelma Randolph; and a host of other relatives and friends from Norfolk, VA to New York, NY.
