What began as a simple game of Dungeons & Dragons for a friends’ birthday turned into a sensational actual-play series that spawned legions of fans, a record-breaking Kickstarter, and now an animated adaptation streaming on Prime Video.
Critical Role: The Legend of Vox Machina follows the heroes of the Critical Role webseries’ first campaign in an action-packed, funny, and occasionally crude adventure. Laura Bailey, Taliesin Jaffe, Ashley Johnson, Liam O’Brien, Marisha Ray, Sam Riegel, and Travis Willingham all reprise their roles as the heroes of Vox Machina. Dungeon Master Matthew Mercer doesn’t have to do every other voice in the TV show, though, as he’s joined by an all-star cast of voice actors in the series, now in its second season.
