Personal Statement

Football has always been a passion of mine. Ever since I can remember, I have always had a love for this sport.

Everything about the game excites me. This is a game where you have to be mentally and physically ready.

I have been playing football ever since I was in fifth grade. I played youth ball for two years and then moved up to middle school football . I played middle school ball while in the seventh and eighth grade. I am now moving on to high school and going into the ninth grade.

I love how physically and mentally demanding this sport is. It keeps me on my toes, especially playing defensive end. I like the rush I get when I am trying to sack the quarterback or tackle whoever has the ball. This game has taught me so much, not just about life but how to be a good teammate, and how to finish something  that you start.

At 6’2” and 240 lbs, some say playing defensive end should come easy. Maybe it does but, nothing can account for the endless hours we have spent on the field going over plays, running, or in the weight room lifting weights so that I can become bigger, stronger, faster, and overall just Better than I was yesterday.  I love that my coaches push me to be the best me that I can be! To compete at a high level and to never stop striving to be great!

My goal is to be NCAA D1 defensive end for the SEC, Sunbelt, or the PAC-12 Conference.
