Personal Statement
I'm very physical, love hitting, blocking, receiving and pushing myself to be the best I can be on the field not only for myself, but also for my teammates and coaches, classmates, community and my parents. Each and every workout I push myself as hard as I can to increase my strength, speed, quickness, technique and all aspects of my game so that my coaches will know when it's game time, they can count on me to do my job. I've carried this attitude into my personal life off the field as well and try to represent myself in a way that always reflects positively on my team and coaches. I take mainly honors classes and am on the "A" "B" honor roll. I try to live honorably the way my parents and coaches expect me to live and I will bring my work ethic, drive, and competitiveness to any team I play for! I believe, with the right coaching, that I will be a big asset to any team I play for and that my best days are ahead of me! I'd also like to include my coaches remarks on my stats and bio:
2014-"Tyler is a hard worker that is always improving. He is doing a great job in the weight room, where he is one of the strongest kids on the team. He will be playing Tight End and Defensive End in 2014 for the COMMANDOS and is expected to see Varsity action on both sides of the ball as well as on some Special Teams units. With his size and athleticism, Tyler has the potential to be a devastating blocker as well as a valuable passing threat on the offensive side of the ball and has the potential to be a great help on defense. If he continues to work hard throughout the offseason, he will have a big impact on the COMMANDOS 2014 campaign."
2013-"Did a good job working hard everyday at practice which earned him playing time on Friday nights at Tight End. Also saw limited game action at Defensive End during the season. His consistent improvement at Tight End greatly helped the teams’ depth at that position and he was able to be an excellent blocker, helping the team gain the most rushing yards during a season in school history."
Thank you,
Tyler Cassidy
