Richard Allen, 50, is a licensed pharmacy tech. According to Fox59, his full name is Richard Mathew Allen, and he is also known by the names Ricky Allen and Rick Allen.
He is the current suspect in the murders, as per the police. He is currently booked in the Carroll County Jail Friday in connection with the Delphi murder investigation, as per Fox59.
Since he is the suspect, this case remains the most popular homicide unsolved case. The murder took place in 2017, and police found another recent suspect on Friday, October 2022.
Richard’s wife shared pictures of her daughter on the same bridge in 2018. This was one year after the murder incident took place on the bridge.
She has also mentioned the location from which property records determined that Richard lives with his wife and children on Whiteman Drive in Delphi, Indiana, in a 3-bedroom, 2-bath home.
In December 2021, Richard’s wife can be seen sitting in the Delphi bar, and a sketch of the Delphi murder suspect appears to be in front of her. The police have not released an official statement on how they were able to get to Allen.
How Did The Kids Go Missing?
According to the family, Kelsi German, who is the sister of Libby, dropped Libby and Abby on County Road 300 North, which was east of the Hoosier Heartland Highway, at 1:15 p.m.
The two had walked the bridge to the pickup point. The children walked on their own to where their father would pick them but they did not reach at the scheduled time when their father arrived around 3 p.m.
The family decided to search for their kids on their own, but after tirelessly searching everywhere and losing all hope they immediately filed a missing report to the Indian Police. The police immediately began their search, and the next day they found the two teenage girls.
However, the family was shocked to hear that they had found them and to their utter regret, they were found dead. As per the police, the dead bodies were found 0.5 miles east of the abandoned Monon High Bridge.
A week later, the police found an audio clip recorded by Libby. In the audio, it could be heard that a man said to them, “down the hill.“
Police also searched for evidence on Libby’s phone on which they found that Libby recorded Abby walking on the bridge at 2:07 p.m. from her Snapchat. Later the police found a fake account on her Snapchat and Instagram named “anthony_shots.”
Libby had been interacting with this person for many days before being murdered. The same person also mentioned that he is a wealthy model.

After the arrest of Richard Allen, Libby’s sister Tweeted on October 28, 2022, Friday, “Just know how grateful I am for all of you. No comments for now, any questions please refer to the Carroll county prosecutors office. There is tentatively a press conference Monday at 10 a.m. We will say more then. Today is the day💜.“
The press conference that is going to be held is scheduled for Monday, October 31, 2022. It is also confirmed by the Indian Police State.
