Yassine Bounou often referred to as “Bono,” is a professional football player who currently plays as the goalkeeper for the Moroccan National Team.

He started his professional career with Wydad Casablanca in 2010–2011 and made nine appearances in his two years there.

But when he switched to the Atlético Madrid B squad in 2012–2013, his talent took shape – so much so that he was immediately elevated to the senior team! 

His loan spell at Real Zaragoza gave him more experience. Still, when Girona offered him a contract, he grabbed it immediately and eventually helped the team get promoted from Segunda División to La Liga.
