Allen Iverson is an American former professional basketball player, mainly known by his nickname "AI or the Answer," in the court. He played for 14 seasons in the NBA as a point guard & shooting guard.

Why Did Allen Iverson Go To Jail? Arrested In Conviction Of Brawl In Bowling Alley

Allen Iverson got arrested on 14 February 1993 with an adult of the felony charge. He was only 17 when he faced the jail sentence in the conviction of a brawl in a bowling alley. 

Allen and his friends got caught up in an altercation in Hampton, Virginia. The fight eventually escalated after the brawl started, pitting the black crowd and the white crowd.  

Iverson, and his three pals, who were also black, faced felony charges. As for Allen, he faces the accusation of hitting a woman with a chair during the brawl. 

The sad thing was only Iverson and his friends, who were black, were arrested in the brawl, facing a jail sentence. Further, he spent four months of his life in a correctional facility, Newport News City Farm.

Where Are Allen Iverson's Wife And Children Today?

Allen Iverson was married to his ex-wife, Tawana Turner, with whom he shares five children, Dream, Tiara, Messiah, Allen II, and Isaiah. The ex-couple eventually separated after getting divorced in 2013. 

For the moment, not much is known about Allen's ex-wife and his children. Regardless, he and Tawanna were known as the high school sweetheart, who dated each other since they were 16-years of age.
