Aaron Rodgers does not get along with his family after growing distant from them in December 2014.

Contrary to the popular belief of his family disowning him, Rodgers is the one to grow his distance from them, according to Fansided.

The QB has not spoken with his family since then and he was also not in attendance at his younger brother Jordan's wedding.

How Long Is He Estranged From Them?

Aaron Rodgers has been estranged for nearly 8 years from his family. He has not spoken with them since December 2014.

According to US Weekly, Aaron started pulling away from his family after he started dating his former partner Olivia Munn. His family raised their concerns that Munn was not with him for the right reasons to which the QB reacted by cutting off his term with the family.

However, Aaron's relationship struggles with his family were not publicized much until his younger sibling Jordan appeared on the 2016 season of The Bachelorette. Jordan mentioned he is not on the greatest of terms with his elder sibling Aaron to his now-wife Joelle "JoJo" Fletcher.

Green Bay Packers QB does not appear to have taken Jordan's statement lightly. He later reacted by saying that he has not watched the series and it has not affected him a lot.  The strain on the family relationship only became tense from his point onwards.

Rodgers announced to donate a million dollars to the California wildfire relief effort. Jordan was quick to tweet his own view saying if someone fails to check in on their family during the disaster, everything else appears like a stunt, hinting Aaron did not make any contact with the family.

The Twitter drama escalated when Aaron's elder sibling Luke weighed in on his view, Luke retweeted Jordan's tweet and added he could smell cowardice in the air.

Does Aaron Rodgers Talk To His Family Now?

Aaron Rodgers has started talking to his family in an attempt to mend the years-long rift.

According to People, Aaron has started talking to his brother Jordan but the division between the two siblings still stands. Aaron and Jordan are two completely different people and they might need a long time to get along but at least they have taken their first step.

Although the article published in January 2022 claims the two brothers are on the way to mending their relationships, Aaron's absence from Jordan's May 2022 nuptials might have made things complicated. US Weekly reports, the QB remained absent from his younger sibling's big day despite being invited.

However, Aaron's relationship with his family did not start to mend out of the blue. His former partner Danica Patrick was the one to lobby and try to close the gap between him and his family. She made good progress until the pair called quits.

Rogers has spoken about his aim to reconcile with his family someday. Speaking with US Weekly, the football player said he had plans to reconcile with his family and does not have resentment.

The family patriarch Edward Wesley Rodgers has spoken publicly in support of his middle-born. He supported Aaron's decision to not get vaccinated against Coronavirus and has praised him for the decision as well. The family might be into something when it comes to getting back on track together.
